About Me.
My name is Amber Finnegan, and I am a freelance illustrator currently located in Washington State! I've worked on many exciting projects; from working with non-profits to create adorable children's books, to creating my own characters and environment designs. I've helped design and illustrate a children's cookbook, created many logos for a myriad of businesses, and have even created my own children's book world, The Remembered Realms, with my first published picture book York the Orc!
I draw a lot of my inspiration from the amazing world of animation and illustration around me. From titans like Disney/Pixar and Studio Ghibli, to favorites like Brett Helquist and Pendleton Ward. There's something a little fantastic about the natural world around us, and I am constantly being inspired; not just by animators and illustrators, but by photographers, teachers, voice actors, and writers!
